What Blantyre Community Transport do

Blantyre Volunteer Ltd provides a Community Transport service for charities, youth associations, schools and local community groups.

Our Vehicles

  • Fleet of 5 minibuses with up to 16 seats and 3 wheelchairs
  • Smaller People Carrier type vehicles 5 to 7 seats are also available
All our vehicles are specially adapted with:

  • Handrails
  • Low steps
  • Some have lift or ramp for wheelchair and walking frame users

Please note the seating capacity varies by vehicle and reduces with the number of wheelchairs carried

Be a Volunteer Driver

Blantyre Community Transport always needs new drivers to join our very friendly team and we appreciate any time given to help. You must have a clean and current driving licence and be aged between 25 and 75 years. .

How do I hire a Minibus

The minibuses are available for hire every day for by Members of Blantyre Volunteers Ltd.

How much does it Cost?
The fees are at cost and include limited mileage fuel allowance, insurance and breakdown cover.
